Windy August greetings to everybody
A thought for the week:
Anything that costs you your peace is too expensive. J
Remember that IT IS LAW IN SOUTH AFRICA that ALL CHILDREN HAVE TO BE BUCKLED UP WHILE DRIVING IN A CAR.
We still see children arriving at school in the mornings, or being picked up in the afternoons, either jumping around while the car is driving, or they are just “placed” into the car before leaving, completely unrestrained.
Children also stand between the 2 front seats, or worse, stand in the front of the car, with their chins on the dashboard. Moms and dads, au pairs, family members and drivers, please, please, please, help you kiddies to make it a habit to strap themselves in, or be strapped in, when they climb into a car, BEFORE you drive off. It is SO DANGEROUS to drive around with children in your car who are un-restrained, EVEN IF YOU THINK THAT YOU ARE A GOOD DRIVER.
It is often the “other” drivers on the roads who we have to be careful of.
Please BUCKLE UP BEFORE DRIVING, and ONLY UNBUCKLE when you have reached your destination.
Thank you moms and dads.
